Photo's of the last day of our project meeting. We visited Madurodam, Sceveningen Pier and saw a movie about dolphins. We celebrated the end of our succesfull first meeting wit a disco at school!
Longest scarf of Holland
Groep 7a made an attempt to knit the longest scarf. This because we participated at the "warm sweater day". This day is a day on wich schools turn down the heat and try to stay warm with sweaters instead of the radiator.

Grow your own vegetables
Every year the 6th grade starts working in their own garden. In the 7th grade they can harvest what they haven planted. They plant their own vegetables and keep their garden free of weeds and insects by using tools and their hands. No use of any chemicals, so we make our own biological vegetables. We must admit, it's a lot of work, but you can taste the difference! Also the children learn were the vegetables come from, instead of the supermarket...... Look at the pictures of harvesting our gardens!

Feeding birds in winter
We learned that it's difficult to find food for the birds when it's winter. To give them something extra, we made seed-bulbs and peanuts on a string and hang them on trees in the schoolyard for the birds to eat!
